Like the historic Persian ornamental gardens that inspire me, Paradaida is my professional vehicle to provide you with the same.

About Me
My name is Adam Kavanagh, and Paradaida is my professional platform. The natural has always found a way to be a part of my life, from my fathers various jobs and gardening business to my constant forays into the woods and orchards of my childhood. I am currently a student at Canterbury Christchurch University, going into the last year of a degree in Ecology and Conservation Science. I love working with both reintroductions and invasive species, working around beavers in Ham Fen Reserve and zebra and quagga mussels at the university lab. I am also a botanist with the BSBI and an avid collector of plant specimens, and I love to urban explore and hike. I want to foster connections between the urban and the natural, create balance where it is found wanting, and help people through practical knowledge, good research and well placed passion.
